About the societyMembershipThe Society
has a current financial membership and some additional friends
who attend our meetings. The membership subscription is $15 a year plus
we charge a $3 entry fee for ordinary meetings every other month to cover the cost
of the room hire and the entertainment, in exchange each person is given
a raffle ticket. Each member also receives a pre-meeting newsletter.
OfficersThe Officers of the
Society consist of the Patrons, the President, two Vice Presidents, the
Secretary and the Treasurer. The officers for the Society for 2018/2019 are

To
join the Society you don't have to be Welsh or even have a connection
with Wales, all we ask is an interest in the Society and in things Welsh.
If you live in the Christchurch area why not contact us, come along to
one of our meetings and get to know our friendly members. If you live
further away you can become a friend of the Society and still receive
our newsletters.
