People wanting to start-up their own business and and needing help with assessing its viability, developing a business plan, learning to manage finances and promoting their business.

People wanting to re-evaluate an existing business and gain further business skills to improve performance.

People considering buying an existing business who need skills in assessing the viability and potential of the business.

How Much Will the Course Cost?

In most cases course fees can be met from training funds, held by the Centre.

Please discuss this with the Training Officer.

What Do I Bring?

Just bring yourself and basic writing material. A pencil and calculator are useful for doing figure work.

Start Your Own Business

A three week full time course

This course is designed to cater for the following clients:

Applicants for the New Zealand Employment Service Enterprise Allowance Scheme (EAS). Under this scheme, those clients who are classified as long-term unemployed may be eligible for assistance to help them start or purchase their own business.
