Who We Are

We are a group of people who have differing
interests in fish keeping.
Our members have a varied level of experience
and background inside the hobby.
The club was formed in 1941 to further the hobby, in all its aspects, and we try to do this in
a friendly, informal way.

We are a member of the Federation of
New Zealand Aquatic Societies, (Inc.)
whos aim is to combine the various clubs as a
group to better support the hobby, and the
governments law changes, that affect the hobby.

Our club meets on the third Wednesday
of every month (except  December.)
at the SYDENHAM COMMUNITY
CENTRE,  25  HUTCHESON STREET,
SYDENHAM,  CHRISTCHURCH.

The meeting starts at  7.30 pm
and continues until about  9.30 pm.

These meetings are an ideal place for
beginners to pick the brains of others
and to learn some of the TRICKS
that work for others.
